Opposition party congress underway in Kokkola, Finland
The two-day autumn congress of the main opposition party, the Social Democratic Party (SDP), is ongoing today in Kokkola, and is expected to conclude by noon.
During the first day of the meeting on Saturday, attendees listened to speeches from the party chairman, Antti Lindtman, and the outgoing EU commissioner, Jutta Urpilainen.
Additionally, the SDP presented ten strategies aimed at easing the challenges faced by small businesses.
