Olkiluoto 3’s annual maintenance has been delayed again, with production now expected to resume on November 11, Yle reports. Teollisuuden Voima (TVO), the plant’s operator, informed the Nord Pool electricity exchange of the revised schedule.

This is the second time TVO has postponed the end of the maintenance. It was originally due to finish last week, before the date was first moved to November 7 and then to November 11.

TVO has attributed the delays to additional maintenance needs, including work on the plant’s valves.

The Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant in Eurajoki undergoes annual maintenance every 18 months. Its next maintenance is scheduled for spring 2028.
