Father’s Day celebrated in Finland with nearly 1.3 million fathers

Father’s Day is celebrated in Finland on the second Sunday of November. The official flag-raising day for this occasion was established in 2019. According to Statistics Finland, there are nearly 1.3 million fathers in the country, including biological and adoptive dads. Additionally, there are approximately 450,000 grandfathers.

The average age of men when they become fathers is just over 32 years, while the average age for becoming a grandfather in Finland is around 63.
