The police had a busy night, particularly between 1 and 4 AM, as reported by the on-duty officer this morning. This surge in activity was due to a large concert held at the venue on Hálsi in Torshavn, where Danish artist Medina performed.

In light of this, the police are urging the public to refrain from hastily calling for assistance when they see people who appear to be unconscious. Instead, they encourage individuals to try to wake them up before contacting the authorities.

Multiple incidents required police intervention throughout the night, often finding individuals who had revived on their own. The ambulance service was also kept busy during these hours.

Two men were detained for different reasons: one refused to disclose his identity, while the other was apprehended for having struck a police vehicle. They face charges for failing to provide their names and for violating public order regulations.

Additionally, there was a report yesterday of a fire in a dishwasher in Hvalba. Neighbors and nearby residents responded quickly, managing to remove the dishwasher from the premises to minimize damage.
