Accident involving two cars at Nuuskakaira JM 2024 competition in Pello

An accident occurred during a weekend competition in Pello, Western Lapland, involving two cars colliding. One vehicle flipped onto its roof and caught fire, igniting the driver as well. Fortunately, the driver managed to escape the vehicle on their own. Officials at the event extinguished both the driver and the burning vehicle.

In response to the incident, multiple rescue units were dispatched to the scene, including a medical helicopter from Oulu. The event was part of the Nuuskakaira JM 2024 competition held at the Kittisvaara motor racing track in Pello.
