Føroya Banki reports 62 million kroner in third-quarter profit

Føroya Banki’s group reported a profit of 62 million kroner after tax in the third quarter, according to KVF.

Its subsidiary Skyn sold 10 per cent more homes than in the same quarter last year and carried out 7 per cent more property valuations.

The bank said the market expects two further interest rate increases over the coming year. It described the outlook for the rest of 2026 as generally good.

Management expects the bank’s net profit for 2026 to be between 225 million and 255 million kroner.
