DR opens voting for P3 Guld hit and new talent awards

DR has opened voting for the P3 Listener Hit and P3’s Next awards, which will be presented at P3 Guld 2026. Listeners can vote for their favourites in both categories.
Five songs are nominated for P3 Listener Hit: “Drukner” by Kesi and Annika, “If U Kno U Kno” by Kedde and Karoline Mousing, “Vil du noget?” by Guldimund and Saveus, “Tusind tanker” by Mille, and “Shen Mao” by Kundo.
P3 host Julie Rahbek praised “Drukner” as one of the summer’s biggest earworms, highlighting Kesi’s hit-making ability and Annika’s voice. Host Ena Cosovic said the duet “If U Kno U Kno” stood out for its strong chorus and the way the singers work together.
Marie Hobitz described “Vil du noget?” as a rare song that grabs listeners immediately, pointing to Saveus’ powerful voice and lyrics about youth in provincial Denmark. Nynne Givskov said Mille’s “Tusind tanker” turns big feelings about love and overthinking into something concrete, while Nis Gertsen praised Kundo’s shift towards a more pop-oriented sound on “Shen Mao”.
P3’s Next nominees
P3’s Next, previously known as KarriereKanonen, is a talent programme for emerging Danish artists. Hundreds submitted music earlier this year, and five acts were selected. Half of the votes for the award will come from a music jury, with the public also able to vote.
The nominees are Friða Saiya, who makes organic pop with Nordic influences and elements of her Faroese background; Loui Henderson, whose music moves between pop and rock; and Oskar Witt, who makes Danish-language alternative hip-hop combining fast tempos with room for reflection.
Also nominated are Ida Just, whose genre-spanning alternative pop explores identity and relationships, and CARLLO YABOY, who makes energetic afropop for dancing and partying.
Two other awards will be presented: P3 Prisen, whose nominees are Annika, Anton Westerlin and Zar Paulo, and the new P3 Live award. In the weeks before P3 Guld, P3 plans to invite audiences across its platforms to share their best live music memories from 2026.
