New risk assessment for Grindavík to be presented

mbl.is reports that the Prime Minister’s Office and Grindavík municipality will present a new risk assessment for Grindavík at an open meeting in Gjáin at 8pm on Tuesday.

The meeting will outline the first findings, explain the assessment methodology and set out the next steps. It will be streamed live.

The work establishes a dynamic risk assessment based on 23 risk indicators and 150 mitigation measures. It covers areas including safety, housing and school operations.
