Elderly man dies after car hits him at Oulainen crossing

An 80-year-old man died after being hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing in Oulainen on Tuesday morning, Yle reported.

The man was crossing Takojankatu when the car struck him. He died at the scene from his injuries.

Police suspect the driver of aggravated endangerment of traffic safety and causing death.
