Fire at Toppstöðin prompts indoor warning over smoke

Firefighters have asked people near Elliðaárdalur to stay indoors and close their windows while they tackle a fire at the Toppstöðin building, mbl.is reports.

Heavy smoke has spread across Fossvogur, according to Lárus Steindór Björnsson, a watch manager with the capital area fire service.
