Rain showers to clear as Finland’s week turns sunny
Finland will see unsettled weather on Sunday, but sunny and dry conditions are expected to begin the new week, Yle meteorologist Elias Paakkanen says.
Scattered rain will move eastwards across the country on Sunday. Rain will be fairly continuous in Lapland, while elsewhere it will be more sporadic. The weather will begin clearing from the west towards the evening.
On Monday, high pressure will strengthen over Finland and bring wider clear skies. The day will be sunny across the country except for northern Lapland, with temperatures around 15 degrees Celsius. Southern Finland will be the warmest.
Many parts of the country will remain sunny on Tuesday, with no rain expected.
