SVT has outlined the key points during Sweden’s election night, when polling stations close on Sunday and vote counting begins immediately.
Early results from the first districts may indicate which way the election is heading. However, the official result could take longer, depending on how close the blocs are.
Digital reporting and SVT’s new election forecast will also affect how quickly voters learn which government is likely to take shape. SVT election reporter Fouad Youcefi explains the timeline and the times to watch during the night.
