Northeastern Iceland to reach 17C as showers affect other regions

Northeastern Iceland will be the warmest part of the country on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching up to 17C, mbl.is reports.

Westerly or variable winds of 3 to 10 metres per second are forecast. Skies will be partly cloudy, with light showers in some areas, while the northeast will enjoy mostly clear conditions.

On Wednesday, winds will be variable at 3 to 8 metres per second, with some showers. Conditions will be mostly bright in eastern Iceland, while skies will be cloudy elsewhere, with rain in many places from time to time during the evening.

Temperatures will range from 7C to 17C.
