Low pressure brings rain and wind before Sunday improvement

Rain and gusty winds will affect Finland on Friday, with conditions expected to improve by Sunday, Yle reports. Scattered showers will occur across the country, particularly in the east and north, and some areas may also see thunderstorms.

Yle meteorologist Elias Paakkanen said westerly winds would be gusty in southern and central Finland. Temperatures will mostly range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, although it may be cooler in places where it rains.

Rain will continue in northern Finland on Saturday, keeping temperatures only slightly above 10 degrees in affected areas. Most of the country will remain dry, with the sunniest weather in the south and southwest.

By Sunday, the rain area will move away, leaving only scattered showers in some places. Southwesterly winds will bring slightly warmer air, and the sun will shine in many areas.
