Police deploy major resources to Hønefoss brawl

Police and emergency services responded to Hønefoss on Friday after multiple reports of an ongoing fight, Dagbladet reports.

One person was injured at the scene and treated by ambulance crews, according to operations manager Ståle Olstad Fuglaas.

Fuglaas said callers provided conflicting accounts of the incident, but described a fight between several adult men. One individual allegedly got into a car, struck another person, and fled. The victim sustained a leg injury.

Police have secured the vehicle’s registration details. “It’s chaos right now,” Fuglaas said.

By 17:00, one person had been taken to hospital. Authorities are working to locate other involved parties.
