Tampere’s planned floor accommodation at the exhibition and sports centre for the August “super weekend” has been cancelled due to insufficient bookings, the venue announced on its website.

The scheme would have offered 600 sleeping spaces in the centre’s largest hall for 244.50 euros, covering two nights and including two breakfasts. The event was scheduled for 7–9 August, a period of high demand in the city due to multiple festivals, stadium concerts, housing fairs, and the Finnish Trotting Derby.

Local media Aamulehti first reported the cancellation. Yle initially covered the accommodation option in early July.
