Thunderstorms and rain showers are forecast across southern and central Finland on Sunday, with some storms potentially severe and accompanied by gusts, according to Yle’s weather service.

Sunny spells may break through between the downpours, and temperatures in the south could still reach heatwave levels despite the rain. Central regions will see highs above 20°C, though temperatures may drop locally when storms pass through.

Northern Finland will experience unstable and largely cloudy conditions, with temperatures ranging between 15°C and 20°C.

Monday will bring clearer skies nationwide, with sunshine in many areas. Southern Finland may see temperatures near 30°C, while the north will warm to around 20°C.
