Faroe islands exports reach 14 billion kroner, imports 11.4 billion

The Faroe Islands exported goods worth nearly 14 billion kroner and imported goods worth 11.4 billion kroner in the 12 months from April 2025 to March 2026, according to figures from Statistics Faroe Islands reported by Kringvarp Føroya.

Exports rose by 1.6 billion kroner compared with the same period a year earlier, while imports increased by about 1.4 billion kroner.

Fish product exports accounted for the bulk of outward trade, reaching 13.2 billion kroner — an increase of nearly 1.7 billion kroner, or 14.3 percent.
