A new agreement has been finalized with the Employee Association, prompting the Payroll Department of the Ministry of Finance to engage in discussions with three organizations this autumn.

These organizations include the Midwives’ Association, the Nutrition and Dietary Association, and the teaching staff at the University of Applied Sciences.

Communication is ongoing among the parties involved; however, no formal negotiation meetings have been scheduled yet, according to the head of the Payroll Department.

Next week, the Local Government Employers’ Association and the Health Care Assistants’ Association are set to enter negotiations.

The Local Government Employers’ Association is also expected to negotiate with the Health Care Workers’ Association and the Faroese Workers’ Association regarding childminders this fall.

Negotiations with the Association of Machine Masters are anticipated to resume next week, as confirmed by the director of the Local Government Employers’ Association.
