Homicide investigation launched after death of woman in Nilsiä, Kuopio

According to police, the victim of a homicide that occurred in Nilsiä, Kuopio, on Saturday was in a relationship with the suspect. The alleged crime took place in a private residence in Nilsiä at around 8 PM local time. The emergency services received multiple reports regarding the incident. The suspected perpetrator, the victim’s approximately 70-year-old spouse, was apprehended near the scene an hour later.
