In many schools across Finland, autumn break begins today. Cities such as Helsinki, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Tampere, Turku, and Vaasa are among those observing the holiday this week. In most schools, the autumn break lasts for a week. However, according to the Finnish National Agency for Education, Swedish-speaking schools in Vantaa will not start their break until Wednesday.

Next week, schools in other cities like Kotka, Lahti, Lappeenranta, and Oulu will have their autumn breaks.
