Women’s list launched to increase female representation in Sunda Municipality

A women’s list aims to ensure greater female representation in the Sunda Municipality.

“With this list, voters can be assured that their vote goes to a woman,” says Ingibjørg Egholm.

She is one of the instigators and a candidate on the women’s list in Sunda Municipality.

Currently, only one out of eleven members of the municipal council is a woman, and this is not acceptable, Egholm asserts.

The issue of female representation in local government was highlighted by Breddin earlier today.
