Union members prepare for negotiations as agreements expire in Norway on October 1

On October 1, the agreements between the Trade Union and employees working for the government and municipalities will expire.

However, there has yet to be a formal negotiation meeting with the Ministry of Finance and the Association of Local Authorities. Additionally, demands for new agreements have not been submitted.

The Trade Union has announced to its members that the collaboration between the parties is positive and progress is moving in the right direction. There have been communications between the parties recently.

The first negotiation meeting is scheduled to take place on October 8. A meeting was originally planned for today, but due to a proposal for the budget being presented on Monday, there is not enough time for negotiations.
