Fire erupts in row house on Purolankatu in Kemi, evacuation of over 20 residents initiated

A fire broke out early Sunday morning on Purolankatu in Kemi, leading to the evacuation of over 20 people, according to the Lapland Rescue Service. The evacuation included residents from a nearby row house. The flames erupted in a row house consisting of eight apartments, and by 6:30 AM, the fire had entered a fully engulfed stage.
