Man injured in combine harvester fire in Loimaa, Varsinais-Suomi

A man sustained serious injuries in a combine harvester fire in Loimaa, Varsinais-Suomi, on Saturday. Emergency services received an alarm about the blaze on Hurstinkulmantie around 3:30 PM. The man was found near the burned combine harvester beside a building. According to the on-duty fire chief, it was unclear on Saturday afternoon whether the victim had been in the harvester’s cabin when the fire broke out.

The fire completely destroyed the combine harvester; however, flames did not spread to the nearby building. Authorities had no information regarding the cause of the fire as of Saturday afternoon.
