One person remanded in custody after Breiðholt stabbing death

One of the people arrested in connection with a homicide in Breiðholt has been remanded in custody, mbl.is reports. A man in his thirties died after being stabbed overnight.

Elimar Hauksson, the remanded man’s defence lawyer, confirmed the decision to mbl.is. He said he could not comment further on the circumstances of the case or how long the man would remain in custody, and referred questions to police.
