Norwegian coast guard vessel trains with Danish naval helicopter

Norwegian coast guard vessel KV Jan Mayen is visiting the Faroe Islands and will conduct exercises with a Danish naval helicopter, the Faroe Islands Broadcasting Corporation, KVF, reported.

The vessel arrived at Skálafjørður fjord on Monday, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Fisheries.

KV Jan Mayen has diplomatic permission to enter Faroese territorial waters.
