Runavík municipal manager leaves post

Runavík municipal manager Sæunn Lamhauge Nolsøe has left her position, Kringvarp Føroya reports.

Lamhauge Nolsøe had served as municipal manager of Runavík municipality since June 2024. She was the first and only person to hold the position, but is no longer listed among the municipality’s staff.

The municipal manager is the mayor’s and municipal council’s closest adviser and the senior manager of the municipality’s central administration, reporting to the mayor.

Kringvarp Føroya sought comments from Mayor Torbjørn Jacobsen and Lamhauge Nolsøe, the former municipal manager, but neither commented on the matter.
