A 17-year-old Swedish boy is currently undergoing a preliminary hearing in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Frederiksberg last night. He faces charges of attempted murder, use of firearms in public, and possession of firearms. The teenager denies all charges.
The firearms involved include a revolver and a semi-automatic pistol. The boy was arrested around 7 PM yesterday. Authorities believe he fired six shots inside a jewelry store in Frederiksberg, injuring an 18-year-old man in the process.
During the hearing, it was revealed that the two weapons the teenager is accused of possessing have been recovered. The judge closed the session to protect the defendant’s identity, given his young age, and because police suspect that a primary perpetrator may still be at large.
Updates on the situation are forthcoming.
