Southern Finland could exceed 20C as temperatures fall elsewhere
Temperatures will fall and winds strengthen across Finland on Tuesday, with only Southern Finland expected to rise above 20C, Yle reports. Rain and showers will continue in Lapland, while isolated showers are also possible in the south.
Yle meteorologist Henriikka Heikinoja said winds would strengthen during the day and could become gusty, particularly in central parts of the country. Temperatures will remain below 20C in most areas.
Winds will gradually ease in the evening. Rain and thunderstorms will continue in Lapland into the evening, while conditions farther south will be drier.
A thick cloud cover will move in from the west towards the night.
