Finland, forecast, weather

Most of Finland will enjoy warm and sunny conditions on Wednesday, according to Yle meteorologist Henriikka Heikinoja.

Scattered showers may persist in northern Lapland, but high pressure will bring clear skies elsewhere. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly above 20°C in most areas, though Lapland may remain just below that mark.

Conditions will clear further in the evening, with warmer, more humid air moving in from the southwest. Overnight, parts of the Lapland arm may experience frost.

On Thursday, the high pressure system will gradually shift eastward. Western regions may see thunderstorms and isolated rain showers, but the day will otherwise remain sunny. Temperatures could reach heatwave levels.
