Finland, forecast, weather

Finland will see a stark divide in weather conditions from Monday as a strong front moves in from the south, bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms to the west while the east enjoys warm, sunny spells, Yle reports.

Sunday remains calm, with scattered showers and gusty southerly winds across the country. Eastern Finland will have the best conditions.

On Monday, the west should prepare for intense downpours and storms, while the east will see warm air flowing in from the southeast. Combined with sunshine, temperatures could climb above 25°C in the far east—a sharp contrast to the wetter west.

By Tuesday, the front will shift north and east, bringing rain and thunderstorms to northern and eastern regions. Southern and western Finland will see improving conditions, with clearing skies, though isolated showers may still occur.
