Two men arrested in Somero homicide investigation
Police in Somero, Southwest Finland, have arrested two men on suspicion of homicide after a bloodied man was seen walking toward officers in the town centre early Thursday morning, Yle reports.
A 65-year-old man was initially detained after emergency services received a report of a blood-covered individual. Following preliminary questioning, police searched a private residence on Turuntie, where they discovered a deceased man, approximately 40 years old.
A 30-year-old man, believed to have been present at the scene, was later arrested. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
Lead investigator, Detective Chief Inspector Jukka Kyynäräinen, stated that the investigation is in its early stages and declined to comment further on the method or details of the crime.
