Swedish party leaders clash over migration and green tech in debate

Social Democrats leader Magdalena Andersson and Sweden Democrats leader Jimmie Åkesson faced off in a debate on SVT’s Aktuellt, with sharp exchanges on migration policy and green technology investments, SVT’s domestic political commentator Elisabeth Marmorstein said.

“It’s clear there are fewer than 100 days until the election, and they see each other as their main opponents,” Marmorstein said.
