Aalborg carnival draws crowds with high energy despite isolated incidents

Thousands of revelers packed Aalborg’s streets on Saturday for the city’s annual carnival, with participants describing the atmosphere as electric, Danish broadcaster DR reported.

Cheers, whistles, and dancing filled the parade route as floats and performers moved through the city. Several attendees told DR the event’s energy was overwhelming, with one calling the mood “insane” in excitement.
