Finnish president Stubb to make official visits to Jordan and Egypt
Finnish president Alexander Stubb will embark on official visits to Jordan and Egypt later this month, according to an announcement from the Office of the President of the Republic.
Stubb will visit Jordan on April 19–20, meeting with King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II in Amman. The trip continues in Egypt on April 21–22, where he will meet President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo.
Discussions during the visits will focus on the situation in Iran and the broader Middle East, as well as Finland’s bilateral relations with both countries. The agenda will also cover Russia’s illegal war of aggression in Ukraine, transatlantic relations, and the global order.
