Danish enthusiasm for vintage mopeds reaches record high
Denmark’s passion for vintage mopeds has surged, with the country now home to over 500 clubs dedicated to the classic two-wheelers, reports national broadcaster DR.
Among the enthusiasts is Per Andreasen from Holstebro, who recently helped establish one of the latest clubs. The growing community reflects a broader revival of interest in older moped models, often referred to as veteranknallerter in Danish.
The trend highlights a nostalgic return to the simple, mechanical designs of past decades, with owners restoring and riding mopeds that date back several generations.
