Cold Arctic Front to Impact Weather Across Scandinavia Today
A cold arctic front is set to impact the weather across the region today, with wind speeds ranging between 8 to 15 meters per second. While much of the southern areas are expected to experience dry and sunny conditions, snow showers will be prevalent in the north, leading to deteriorating driving conditions by evening. Snowfall may become heavy and visibility could be significantly reduced in some areas.
The eastern regions, particularly the East Fjords, are forecasted to see continuous snow throughout the day. Temperatures are predicted to dip between -2 to -9 degrees Celsius.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, areas in the east will continue to experience snowfall, alongside strong to gusty winds. Conversely, the southeast and western parts of the country should see a reduction in both wind and precipitation, leading to clearer skies.
