The Pharmacy Authority, the Health Directorate, and the Health Insurance Agency are launching a joint initiative to encourage people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
“The goal is to have all individuals over the age of 65 and those in high-risk groups vaccinated,” stated Bjarni á Steig, director of the Health Directorate.
This coordinated effort seeks to address the ongoing public health challenge posed by the virus and aims to increase vaccination rates among the most vulnerable segments of the population.
Further details of the campaign will be communicated through various media platforms to ensure widespread awareness and participation. The authorities emphasize the importance of vaccination in protecting not only individual health but also the community at large.
