Amirkhani accused of forcing Mira Luoti into a sexual act

Makwan Amirkhani is accused of forcing musician Mira Luoti into a sexual act in a forest during a television programme shoot in 2016. The trial begins Monday at the Western Uusimaa District Court in Espoo, Yle reports. Amirkhani denies the charge.
Yle reports that Luoti is the complainant in the case. She spoke about being subjected to sexual violence during a television shoot in a documentary about the band PMMP.
The programme, Julkkisselviytyjät, aired on Nelonen in 2017 and was filmed in Nuuksio, Espoo, in summer 2016.
The trial is scheduled to last three days, with one additional day set aside as a reserve.
