Passengers receive delayed luggage after Helsinki-Vantaa Airport malfunction

Passengers whose luggage was left behind at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport yesterday will receive their bags today through the airlines, Finavia’s communications department informed STT in the afternoon. The airport experienced significant congestion on Thursday due to a malfunction in the baggage distribution system, which delayed check-in and caused long lines at security checkpoints. Finavia estimated that around 2,000 pieces of luggage were left at the airport as a result.
