Man’s custody extended following bomb threat at Billund Airport in Denmark
A 37-year-old Russian-speaking man has had his custody extended for four weeks following a bomb threat incident at Billund Airport. The threat, which occurred on April 20, led to the airport’s closure for nine hours and affected approximately 10,000 travelers. Later that evening, military explosives experts detonated an object in an area roughly 13 kilometers west of the airport. Efforts to obtain details about the specific charges against the man have been unsuccessful, despite the case being opened to the public after an extended discussion during today’s court session.
