Rail traffic accident causes serious injuries in Seinäjoki

A rail traffic accident occurred in Seinäjoki on Sunday. Although the incident has been classified as minor, the emergency services reported that it resulted in serious injuries. The South Ostrobothnia Rescue Department received an alert to the scene shortly before 1 PM local time. As a result of the accident, train services between Seinäjoki and Tervajoki were suspended during the afternoon. VR announced at 3:24 PM that train operations would resume between the two cities.
