In the future, Faroese citizens will be able to travel to China without having to apply for a visa in advance.
During a meeting between Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the Chinese minister announced that China would implement changes enabling Danish citizens to enter the country without a visa.
This information was communicated by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by TV2.
The agreement is part of a broader strategic cooperation between the two nations. However, the exact date when this visa-free travel will take effect and the number of weeks that travelers will be permitted to stay in China without a visa have not yet been clarified.
Recently, China and Norway established a similar agreement.
