Nine applications submitted for principal position at Secondary School in Suðuroy

Nine applications have been received for the position of principal at the Secondary School in Suðuroy.

Among the applicants are four women and five men.

Rósa Heinesen, who took over the principal position on February 1, has already announced her resignation as she will be moving on to a different job. She will officially step down on December 1, when the new principal will assume the role.

In comparison, five applications were submitted for the principal position last year.

The Secondary School in Suðuroy is a gymnasial institution that offers general studies alongside practical training, specialized programs, and Faroese language as a second language.
