Bus fire prompts closure of Ólafsjarðarvegur road near Hvamm

A portion of the Ólafsjarðarvegur road, located just north of Hvamm, has been closed after a fire broke out in a bus today. According to local authorities, the driver was the only person on board and managed to exit the vehicle unharmed. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
