VR reveals new train design for Finnish railways featuring updated color scheme and patterning

Finnish railway operator VR has announced a new design for its trains, as detailed in a recent press release. While the color scheme will remain predominantly green and white, the patterning will change. The green color will be more prominently featured on the sides of the trains. The new design implementation will take place gradually over several years, with the first trains to feature the updated look being the long-distance trains acquired through a recent business deal in Sweden, set to debut this autumn.

The current design has been in use since 2010.
