Sunny spells and showers forecast for the Faroe Islands

Sunny spells and occasional showers are forecast for the Faroe Islands today, KVF reports, citing the Faroese Meteorological Office.

Winds will be light from the southwest, below 5 metres per second, with variable cloud. This afternoon, winds in the north will strengthen to a breeze or fresh breeze of 3 to 8 metres per second.

Overnight, winds will reach fresh to strong breeze from the southwest, at 5 to 10 metres per second, strongest in the north. Temperatures will range from 3 to 9 degrees.
