Sunshine and showers forecast across the Faroe Islands

Sunny spells and occasional showers are expected in the Faroe Islands today, KVF reports, citing the Faroese Meteorological Office.

Winds will be light from the southwest this morning, below 5 metres per second, with variable cloud. This afternoon, winds in the north will reach 3 to 8 metres per second.

Winds are expected to strengthen overnight to 5 to 10 metres per second from the southwest, with the strongest winds in the north. Temperatures will range from 3 to 9 degrees Celsius.
