Frost and fog could make western Finland roads slippery

Frost and fog could make driving hazardous in western Finland on Saturday morning, Yle reports. Road surfaces may be slippery, and fog is expected in some places after the night.

The weekend will be mostly dry. Sunshine is expected in western Finland on Saturday, while skies in the east will remain mostly cloudy.

Parts of northern Lapland will see occasional sleet or snow. Several centimetres of snow could accumulate in the Käsivarsi region of Lapland.

Winds will strengthen on Sunday, with variable cloud cover. Sleet and snow showers are expected to continue in central and northern Lapland, with more snow forecast for Käsivarsi.
